The Mühlradl Apartments are located in the Austrian mountain village of Gosau, within one hour drive from Salzburg. The house is 750 m from the Hornspitz liftstation, a direct access to the Dachstein West ski area. The cross-country ski track is just outside the door.
Gosau is a wide and sunny valley, which leads towards the magnificent Dachstein Glacier and the highest mountain region within the Inner Salzkammergut (Hoher Dachstein 3.004 m). The region is UNESCO listed as a Cultural and Natural World Heritage Site due to its natural beauty and surrounding culture.
Gosau-Dachstein West is described as «the Island in the Mountains» with over 140 km of uncrowded pistes with something to offer all level of skiers and guests who just wish to experience a winter wonderland. In summer, Gosau becomes a paradise for walking, hiking, bicycling, and other exciting activities. There is summer cable car to go up the Zwieselalm Berg for hiking. The routes are well-marked and perfectly maintained.
Mühlradl Apartments are ideally located in Gosau Hintertal («upper Gosau») with a number of restaurants within walking distance, a local bakery that sells hand-made fresh bread, local milk products, jams, local honey, sugar, flour, coffee tee, etc. Also, in Gosau one can find many eating places, pizzeria, three banks, a supermarket, a local groceries store, a domestic goods store, a souvenir shop, a sports wear shop, an electric shop, a butcher, an automatic gas station, a tennis court, a large children’s playground, a football field, a basketball ground, and an in-door swimming pool.
There are 5 apartments and one Double room in the house. Each of the apartments has a special name: „Buche“, „Tanne“, „Zirbe“ (after the types of wood which was used for decoration), „Nesterl“ (on the upper floor, under the roof), and „Ferienhaus“ (as it has a private entrance, a small private terrace, and fireplace; a sort of a separate holiday house).
The apartments are fully furnished in traditional style with wooden furniture. There are decorations on the walls which make the apartments cosy and homely. There are books in the bookcases, a tablecloth on a dining table, Gmunden ceramics for decoration and use. The apartments are equipped with a kitchen/kitchenette, refridgerator, stove, oven, crockery, cooking ware, cups and dishes, a coffemaker, a kettle, a toaster and a microwave oven. In the bedrooms and living rooms there are flat TV-sets with satellite channels, and DVD- Stereo-player. There is a telephone system which connects all the apartments and the office and allows to receive calls. Each apartment has a private bathroom with a shower, a cosmetic mirror and a hair drier. Adult guests are provided with complimentary use of bathrobes, slippers and a welcome vanity kit. Baby cots and baby radios are provided upon request. All the apartments have a magnificent view at the Gosaukamm mountain range. Three of the apartments have south-facing balconies overlooking the mountains.

Buche - Ground floor
„Buche“Apartment (38m2) is on the ground floor, can be accessed with a wheel-chair. It is comfortable for 3 adult persons or 2 adults and 2 children.
Apartments Tanne and Zirbe
„Zirbe“ (48m2), „Tanne“ (50m2) (on the first floor) are quite similar: a large bedroom with a double bed and a single bed, a TV and a wardrobe. A living room combines a kitchen, a sitting area and a dining area. The apartments have balconies overlooking the Gosaukamm mountain range. All have private bathrooms. The apartments are comfortable for 4-5 persons.
„Nesterl“ (55 m2) (on the second floor) are quite similar: a large bedroom with a double bed and a single bed, a TV and a wardrobe. A living room combines a kitchen, a sitting area and a dining area. The apartments have balconies overlooking the Gosaukamm mountain range. All have private bathrooms. The apartments are comfortable for 4-5 persons.
„Ferienhaus“ (85m2) has two bedrooms (with a double bed and with two single beds). The apartment provides maximum privacy and comfort. There is working fireplace in the living room and a small terrace with a small table a chairs overlooking the mountains and the fields. The kitchen is separate area. Perfect for families with two or three children, or for extended families. 5-6 persons.
Breakfast Room is used to serve breakfast, and also as a communal room. Breakfast is served upon request and not included in the price because many guests, especially those who stay for longer periods (up to 7 days) prefer to cook in the apartments. Breakfast consists of fresh local bread (bought from a local bakery), a variety of cheese and ham, butter, a variety of jam, honey, fruit, jogurt, pastry, a variety of cornflakes, milk, juice, drinking water, coffee, a selection of fine tee from Demmer company from Vienna.
- There is a ski storage room, a ski-shoe drier, laundry facilities (a washing machine and a drying machine), an information board.
- A parking lot in front of the house allows all the guests to have their cars parked safely without any additional charge. There is also a parking place by the Ferienhaus.
- For younger children there is an outdoor playground with a slide.
- Also we offer our guests with small children traditional wooden sledges.
- Guests have a free WiFi access to Internet.
- Gosau in-door swimming pool. Our guests can use the local Gosau Hallenbad for free by presenting our Guest card.
- Transfers and excursions in a mini-bus can be provided.
