BergeSeen Trail Classic Stages

Close and personal with the country & people

There is a lot to see on the long-distance hiking trail "BergeSeen Trail" through the Salzkammergut: centuries, sometimes millennia-old history every step of the way. From the picturesque castle in Gmunden, the world-famous "Weiße Rössl" on Lake Wolfgang to Sissi's summer residence in Bad Ischl. On the "Classic Stages" - mostly simple day trips - you will not only get to know the country and the people, but you will learn more about the numerous customs and traditions in one of the most beautiful holiday regions in Austria.
