Mountain Climb „Großer Donnerkogel“

Gosau | Donnerkogel: Conquer approximately 1100 metres of climbing and rugged mountain crags up to 400 m in height. This mountain climb is divided into three sections of varying degrees of difficulty. Brand new: 40-meter-long "Jacob’s ladder".

Hiking to the Zwieselam

From Lake Gosau "Vorderer Gosausee" up to "Zwieselalmhöhe". After 1.5 hours you reach the "Zwieselalm" there you have a beautiful few over "Gosaukamm", "King Dachstein" and the lake.

Käse auf der Rottenhoffhütte

A well signposted footpath leads from the mountain station of the Gosaukammbahn cable car with gentle inclines to the Gablonzerhütte and Breininghütte huts and via Sonnenalmhütte to the Zwieselalmhöhe peak/vantage point (1587 m). This gentle walk is also suitable for children to complete on foot! There's no time for boredom here! The walk as a whole takes approx. 2 ½ to 3 hours, including a short break.
